I am very excited to announce that I will be joining some of Marywood’s finest English professors during their Summer Creative Writing Camp next month! I received an E-mail back in the spring seeking assistants for the camp and I jumped on the opportunity as soon as I finished reading the E-mail. The camp welcomes “aspiring writers” ranging from grades fifth to twelfth. I was very excited when I found out the focus was on fiction. The theme is focusing on mysteries and memories and I could not be anymore excited! Growing up, mysteries especially have been my favorite to read and still to this day I have a great interest with.

I am truly looking forward to the camp especially since it will be a great teaching experience on my part and because writing is something I have always enjoyed even as a young child. I am beyond excited to be surrounded by people who have the same love for writing as I do and cannot wait until the camp starts!

Summer Creative Writing Camp will be held July 25 – July 29, 2016
