Hello lovelies! I hope everyone had a happy fourth! This week I am lucky enough to be up at Marywood as a small group leader for summer orientation! This week is jam packed with training and fun activities to ensure that the incoming freshman have the best weekend ever. My blog post this week is more of a letter of advice to all of the freshman coming in. I know I wish that I was given this advice when I first moved onto campus.
Here are my top 3 tips:
- My biggest tip for being happy at college is: be involved, experience everything, laugh a lot, and make new friends.
- Take advantage of all the great things the university has to offer such as free trips, and events all over campus!
- Go the extra mile, put 100% into everything and you will see rewards.
I know it sounds cliche, but these years will fly by right before your eyes. One morning you will wake up and be concluding your college adventure. The memories that you make here, the friends you will make here are going to last a life time.
