For the next couple of weeks, I’ll be working on a commissioned project for a friend’s family. They are having a big family reunion over the summer and want to create t-shirts for the event. I was tasked with creating a design that includes eighty names as well as elements that are important to the family.

After talking through some details, we decided to use their family crest for the sleeve, a detailed drawing of the house they grew up in on the front pocket, and an outline of the house for the back that will contain all the names. Since I’m still in the beginning stages of the project, I only have some basic sketches so far. But, I’ll be sure to share how I progress within a week or two.
