I’m going to throw two facts at you right now:
- This is my 50th post for Where Creativity Works!
- This is also my last post for Where Creativity Works!
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have shared my last year in the MFA program with everyone, and hope that insight into my journey has been helpful (and maybe even entertaining) to readers. I’m not one for long goodbyes, but before I go, I promised a recap and pictures from my MFA Thesis Exhibition that opened on May 4th.
Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better reception. From install to opening, I had a lot of support, love, and volunteers to help move my many, many plaster and glass pieces and get me ready to show. I thought I would be more nervous to explain my work, but I felt very prepared when asked questions about process and product. The whole experience seemed to go by almost too fast – but hopefully one day I’ll get to do it again!
