Therapeutic Painting

Someday if you are bored and looking for something to do, it might be nice to sit down and do some artwork. Art is always a good way to reduce stress whether you are a beginner artist or a master. You don’t have to paint anything amazing or complicated you can be as abstract as you want. It can even be nice to paint random stuff once in awhile.

Often times if my friend and I are looking for something to do on the weekend we will make small paintings that can be made using inexpensive canvas. You will need this and a few paint colors and a variety of brushes to get you started. You can use a paper plate as a pallet and a cup of water. You have the freedom to make whatever you want so you are only limited to your imagination. It can take hours or a short period of time, it all up to you.

Painting is a great way to relax and let your mind wander, while also creating art of your own. Your painting can be a good gift for someone who is close to you because it is handmade by you. Or you can hang it up in your home as a newly added decoration.
