Hi everybody, this week’s blog post will be really short and sweet. I’ve had a bit of rough week between the stress of school work (finals are just around the corner), worrying about the pandemic, and in general struggling with feeling like I haven’t been productive enough.
My week was brightened a little, however, when I saw this video shared on Facebook about Dutch tulip farmers giving their thanks to health care workers around the world. Another article showed a different tulip farm’s message to tourists who had to cancel their travel plans due to COVID-19, telling them “see you next year”.
It’s truly been so wonderful seeing all these acts of human kindness and compassion, and, in this case, the impressive feat of designing a huge message using tulips on a Dutch tulip farm. I hope everyone’s week went well. As for students, I hope your studies are going well and I hope all essential workers are staying safe and healthy…take care, everyone!!!
Great post π
