Hello everyone! As you all know, I’m Sarah McLain, your current and outgoing On Campus Art News Blogger. As the end of the fall 2025 semester rapidly approaches, it also ends my time as a blogger. I’ve truly enjoyed writing for this blog, but I’m excited to pass the torch to someone new!
Let’s look through the past year we had together!
Last fall, I wrote about a wide variety of galleries, ranging from Posters for Peace Exhibition to Sculpture exhibition to Shutterbugs Annual Gallery!

Last spring 2025 was a busy semester for art news! I wrote articles showcasing the Scholastic Golden Key Awards, the Art History Teaching Exhibition, as well as the Black and White Photo Gallery, the Art of the Art Therapist, and finishing it off with the 2025 Senior Showcase.

Finally, to recap this fall, I’ve covered the 2025 Art Faculty Biennial, the 2025 Foundations Exhibition, Tracing the Sky, the Zeta Omicron showcase, the WHERE CREATIVITY WORKS: 10 YEARS OF EXCELLENCE, and closing it off with the Small Works Holiday Sale.

Over the past few semesters, it has been my honor to keep posting about all of the art events here at Marywood. I’ve gotten to see so much interesting art, and I’ve gotten to talk to so many wonderful people. Keep your eyes here for the next student taking over the On Campus Art News role.
