This week I am at the beach and I have decided to spend some time painting outdoors while I am here. I don’t know how painting out on the sand is going to go, but tonight I started by working on a balcony looking at the surrounding beach houses. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I normally hate painting landscapes, especially with buildings, but this painting was actually pretty fun.
Over the next week I plan on doing a few more paintings in the same small size in different locations. I have prepared a bunch of canvases by painting them in different beach-like colors to work on top of.

My guess room/ office is a light beachy blue with white trim and a beach/ dunes landscape would be a perfect addition!!!

Used to go to Ocean city md near delaware. For many years and miss it
Love the sounds of ocean – waves on the shore birds in the sand- takes lots of photos but a painting would be wonderful
