In last week’s post I wrote about a figure painting I had started and I feel that I have made lots of progress since then. The first image here is from last week and the second image is the current state of the painting.

I’m showing both images side by side to compare the changes I made with the colors of the figures themselves and where the light was coming from. I figured it would be more interesting to put the light source behind the figures. I wouldn’t say this is finished but its definitely headed in a better direction than it originally was.
