Although artwork found online can be incredibly inspiring, it’s not quite the same as seeing it yourself in person. If you live near the Scranton area, there are many galleries that you can visit in your spare time. On the first Friday of every month, there are gallery showings, activities, and the like in the Scranton area as part of First Friday Scranton. It’s a great opportunity to support local artists and also to gain inspiration.

As the end of the semester closes in, I’m sure many students find their stress levels relatively high. Well, if you’re lacking inspiration or just need a break from all the chaos, First Friday Scranton is a great event to attend. This showing featured the Seniors of Keystone college, and their artwork is remarkable.

These as students are incredibly talented, as are the other artists that display their works in these galleries. First Friday is truly an event worth attending. Don’t miss out on the next one!
