Process Printing

One of my favorite things to do with students in the classroom is process related art projects; the projects that require more thought for creation.  Projects like weaving, ceramics, and prints are always cool to see the students’ thought processes come alive during. Currently, with my Art 2 students, we are printmaking and it is amazing some of the designs that they have come up with and are able to execute. Because of the varying sizes of linoleum that we have in the classroom, some students were able to create key block double plate prints and with little added direction those students were able to take their images to create their prints.
