With Halloween right around the corner, I thought it a good idea to visit Americas top rated haunted attraction, Reapers Revenge in Scranton, PA. This was my second trip to the attraction, so I thought I knew what to expect…wrong!

As you stand waiting in line there are creepy characters lurking around, just waiting for the right moment to sneak up on the unsuspecting crowd. When you make it to the front of the line, you’ll start off on the hayride through the haunted woods. Shortly after, you’ll have to leave the comfort of the wagon and make your way through the abandoned carnival, where lost souls of performers remain. But! There’s more…the journey continues to the tunnel of love, where there’s not much love at all. If you’re brave enough the next step is through Pitch Black. This is the indoor maze where you’re forced to use your sixth sense to find your way to the end. The last piece of this puzzle is Sector 13. The moon lit post apocalyptic maze where you’ll be surrounded by those who have been “contaminated”.

It’s a great time! At the end of it all, I think you can give yourself a pat on the back! And prepare yourself for next year.
