When I went home for fall break this past weekend I loved looking at the decorations that are on the houses around the neighborhood. Especially the ones that my dad hangs up in front of our house because he hand crafts them himself (which he usually does for every holiday!)

He takes wood that he has laying around down in the basement and makes decorations for all different holidays. For Halloween he has made pumpkins and grave stones. He cuts out the pieces and then paints them with the appropriate colors. I think its a great idea what he does with left over wood. His sculptures are very simple decorations and they always turn out great! Here are some pictures of what they look like!
