Dance Party Setup

Recently at my internship we did a decoration and prop setup for a dance party/event. This was actually at the same location as my first setup. This event even featured some of the props that I painted and talked about in this post. So, Jeff, my boss and owner of Jeff D’Angelo’s Design Group, his wife, another worker, and I got to work.

We started with this large wall, centering, T-pinning, and drilling everything in place. Then moved on to decorating either side of the stage, luckily, we didn’t have to decorate the stage itself, which saved a lot of time.

After that, I was tasked with positioning some props in the false windows near the kitchen area. The trick was that the windows didn’t have much room to accommodate the wooden stands that hold up the props. But, with some bricks, they weren’t going anywhere. I secured some foam gummy bears to either side of each prop and voila.

Finally, there is the center piece which is my favorite because it reminds me of my boyfriend and I.

As always, thank you for taking time out of your day to read my post!
